Please ensure that all cattle have two matching tags and the correct passport. This is a legal requirement.
FARM ASSURANCE - Would all cattle vendors selling cattle as Farm Assured please ensure that their Farm Assurance is up to date and all passports have a current sticker.
NAMED SIRES - Vendors are advised that Named Sires MUST be officially printed on the passport of the animal and NOT HAND WRITTEN. We will not sell animals as being Named Sire if the sire details are not printed on the passport. Thank You

Comprising of:
Pedigree Blonde and Pure Bred Blonde Cows with their Blonde Calves at foot
Lincoln Red Cows (mostly Pedigree) with their Lincoln Red Calves at foot - these calves are pure bred & could be registered with the Lincoln Red Society.
All calves have been treated with Bovilis Intranasal RSP and calves are sample tagged for BVD and all negative.

Sheep are sold promptly at 10-00am. please ensure stock are brought in early.
As of January 1st 2015 all sheep must have an electronic tag in place. No tag no PPsale and they will be sent home

PRIME HOGGS - please could all vendors check their teeth before bringing them to the market. If any have their teeth up please mark them accordingly. This saves a lot of problems down the line.
CULL EWES - When entering cull ewes please ensure that it is not possible for them to be in lamb.
Please can all vendors ensure that all animals that are transported to the market for sale are fit and healthy and show no signs of lameness. Any animals arriving at market that are seen as unfit will be rejected.
