Another fair entry for the straw carting period !!
We had a mixed entry in terms of quality and overall trade was good. Some of the secondary sorts were a touch easier, reflecting the current beef prices, but preimium quality cattle looked a good price. Jack Peacock topped with Limousin x Steers at £1070 and Charolais x Heifers at £860.

A small entry sold to 137ppkg or 1096 for a Longhorn x steer from Brian Rutterford.
Breeding Cattle
(92) Calves
BB x bull calves sold to 368 for CW Potter & Son. BB x hefs reached 325 for the same vendor. Alex Dann sold BB x bulls to 255 and AA x bulls to 200, Her x bulls from Tom Crawford made 190 as did the same from CB & SC Gapp.
Quality stirks were in demand with Sim x steers 5m.o from N Rix reaching 535 and hefs 530.
