STORE CATTLE
Another market with a harvest feel about it, although a bit of strength and quality in the stores from Holkham Estate and I & L Wallis, plus a Breeding Section from Mill View Farm which brought the punters out in force.

BREEDING CATTLE
A good entry of Breeding Cattle today met a very strong demand and an entry of Angus x Heifers with 2mo Lincoln Red Calves at foot from Mill View Farm were fought after and sold upwards of £2,000 to peak at £2,800. A strong Lincoln Red Cow & Calf from Carrick Enterprises made £3,500 and Red Hereford Cows & Calves from Jason Tayor reached £2,000

The calf section is as busy and popular as ever, with trade at the top end not quite as heated but made up for by the others.
Top spot sent to CW Potter with Blues to £640, closely followed by R Paterson with Charolais at £565, £555, £545, £540, £535, £525. Alex Dann was very close with Blues at £560, £550 and Charolais at £510

SHEEP (553)
With harvest in full swing, surprisingly we were greeted with a fair entry. Lack of grass indicated with more store lambs than ususal.

Decent trade throughout, with prices holding up despite all odds. Bill Harvey topped the trade with lambs to 374.40ppkg and £210 per head.
