As expected, a lot of interest today with a South Devon Cow and Bull Calf from Bures Farm Partners to £3,700 who also acheived £2,700 for a Hereford Cow and Calf.

Our ususal very nice trade with a top of £730 for a B. Blue from CW Potter, closely followed by a Charolais from R Paterson at £690. RJ Barnes also got into the £600 range with a B.Blue at £620. A good run of younger calves from Redgate Dairy sold to £420 for their Blues

A decent entry with prices everywhere very up and down. We had a reasonable trade throughout with farmers very pleased.

Prime Hoggs topped at £177.00 per head for Brian Jones and 350ppkg for La Hogue Farm Foods
